Another pet located and saved by Harry Oakes and search dogs

12-02-2011 IK9SARS team called in to track lost cat. Missing for 10 days.
We tracked her cat down to Clackamas River to a briar patch where it was hiding.
I asked her to leave a urine trail (Her urine in a spray bottle) from the briar patch to her home.
this is the email we received 12-03-2011.

Buddy came home last night! I did the pee trail and he must have followed it home. I couldn't be happier! Thank you for your service and the amazing talent of your dogs to bring our love ones home.

If you have business cards or flyer's I would love to have some to display in my shop and hand out when I speak about my experience. Theres not enough words to say how thankful I am for you and your two dogs.

Missing dog) Short-legged Jack Russell Terrier white body brown spot on left hip brown face and ears approx. 16 lbs 11.5 inches tall 14.5 years old in good health missing since 8\6 at around 12 pm from family farm in Vancouver. Point last seen: 12112 River Rd. Vancouver Wa 98660. New Columbia Gardens is the name of the farm. Team; H. Oakes SAR Dog Tyler K-9-1A. Results: Drove to scene. Arrived 2000hrs. Started search 2015hrs. Tyler tracked south then through pastures then to road. Located feces and tracks. SAR Dog Tyler led owner right to where dog was trapped in a hole. Dog very much alive.

2011-6946-248(A). 08-09-2011 Clatsop Co. Missing woman. Ronald White's Wife was reported missing since July 22, 2011. She left a note that she was going for a walk and has not returned. The police have no leads. Her family and I (her friend and neighbor) are very upset and worried. The story has been in the Daily Astorian, on TV news and we have. Results: Team; H. Oakes SAR Dogs Willow and Tyler K-9-1. Tracked missing person to where we believe her remains are in Youngs Bay. APD notified.
